NEW HAVEN OFFICE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LAUNCHES WEBSITE

(6/22/2009) NEW HAVEN- The City of New Haven Office of Economic Development has launched its new departmental website to assist in communication between the City, residents, business leaders, and those interested in relocating to New Haven.

“Despite a slumping national economy, New Haven continues moving forward with development projects and assisting businesses to grow or move to our City,” said Kelly Murphy, Director of Economic Development. “It’s great that we now have a user-friendly tool to share this information with our residents, the business community and people who are interested in finding our what and who we are as a City and why they should think about locating in New Haven.”

The Economic Development website provides information on key development projects as well as other useful resources for business. It also provides direct links to the many partners that make New Haven such a great place to live and work.

The website has a new design that is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The site controls are now easily accessible to staff, so that the department can provide project updates and more timely information to the public. The Office of Economic Development welcomes any suggestions, and encourages visitors to fill out an online feedback form, located at: http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/EconomicDevelopment/Contact/
